Trials Are Not Designed to Break Us but Make Us

Hi Reader,

Do you know who impressed me the most besides Jesus when he was going through his trials? Apostle Paul. Paul endured numerous trials, such as being beaten with rods, stoned, shipwrecked, and imprisoned for over five years for the gospel's sake, not to mention the sleepless nights, hunger, thirst, and exposure to inclement weather. However, as the late great gospel singer and writer Andrae Crouch sings,

"Through it All, I learned to trust in Jesus, and I learned to trust in God."

Paul’s trials didn’t break him. Instead, they made him a shining pillar and an example of how to endure hardships as a good soldier. I believe Paul’s commitment, dedication, relationship, trust, and obedience to God helped him conquer and endure his unsettling journey.

Are you going through a trial?

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, as Your children go through their trials, help them remember the words of the Apostle Paul, who spoke about his trials: “Yet despite all this, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.” Like Paul, let them find strength in their weakness and help them to learn in whatever state they’re in to be content.

In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Be blessed God’s people.

Remember, I’m praying for you.

Hello Reader, When you think of yourself as a mother, what comes to mind first? Perhaps the meals you cook, the lessons you teach, or the sacrifices you quietly make. God has indeed called mothers to live natural lives—as wives, mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, and more. But I want to ask you a deeper question: Have you ever asked God what your spiritual role is as a mother? It is easy to get caught up in the day-to-day demands of motherhood and forget that God chose you for something...

We are here to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to live fully surrendered to Him. God is looking for vessels who are completely sold out for Him.
